HUDSON BAY POINT BLANKET IMP. ENGLANDThe genuine Hudson's Bay Point Blanket is not only unmatched in its craftsmanship and durability, but also has a heritage and aunthenticity without peer.

First offered for trade in 1670, Point Plankets were so highly prized by Native Americans that they became important articles of trade - each short line, or "point" - woven into the edge of the blanket indicated the number of beaver pelts to be exchanged for the blanket. Today, points are still woven into the blanket as an historical reference and to indicate the size of the blanket.
